Why is Alias so good? Ian and I decided to rewatch the series and even though this is the third time I have seen season 1, I am continuously impressed with how entertaining it is. I guess I am just a sucker for spy vs. spy action. Anyway, watching a show or two each night is eating into the time I usually spend writing blog posts, or reading, or catching up on RSS feeds. I also have a stack of New Yorkers waiting for me (ok, I am behind by two issues. Still.)
So, I just wanted to say that Amelia is no less cute. Or funny. Or happy. Ian thinks she understands the word “no” now. I’m not convinced, but she will often shake her head “no” if you shake yours, or if you say the word. She definitely understands the word “boobies.” And her name, of course. She is almost always standing in her crib when you go to get her after a nap and even in the mornings. And her favourite game is taking all the books off the shelves in her room. Amelia will pull herself up to stand, hold on with one hand, and use the other to remove the books from the higher shelf until there is a massive pile at her feet. Then she’ll sit down, pick one, and start trying to flip through it.
Amelia is now eating broccoli, eggs, chicken, white fish, plenty of veggies and fruit, yogourt and bread on a regular basis. This week we’re probably going to try beef and maybe some sort of stew-like creation. So far she loves everything.
