Our daughter has figured out how to crawl. What did it take? Oh, just holding the iPhone slightly out of reach. She has been really close to crawling all week, getting up on her hands and knees, doing a lot of plank position, and moving backwards and around in a circle when on her tummy. Today, I put her down on the floor and just let her be. I was lying down next to her and reached for the iPhone to take a picture. Holding it just out of her range, she reached for it herself. And managed to propel herself forward. And then kept at it. She is one determined little kid. Especially if she has an expensive electronic toy tempting her.
It’s not the most traditional crawling method, but she gets where she wants to go. Time to babyproof the house.
We used to use cheerios for this.
Now all it takes it a cell phone.
So cute.
She’s just in training to become a Navy Seal! That is some awesome commando crawling :)
ahhh, the commando crawl. don’t be surprised if that’s followed by the worm, my personal favourite.
Not sure what’s cooler, her crawling so early or seeing such a tiny tot reaching for an iPhone!
