So in my quest to avoid a vinyl shower curtain for the new house, I came across this site that sells bamboo linens. Is it crazy to pay $80 for a shower curtain? Most places don’t seem to offer bamboo or organic cotton curtains, or if they do they require dry cleaning. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of eco-friendly?
All suggestions welcome. Out bathroom has lots of colours so I will likely need something neutral/cream coloured.
So I hate to admit this, but I actually paid somewhere between 80 and 90 $ for a shower curtain–prob very similar to the one you chose, and maybe even the same. From a store called Dream Designs (very fun store in Vancouver), also b/c I wanted something with only one layer, no vinyl, waterproof etc….
It’s great and I don’t regret it. And definitely Karl doesn’t know how much I paid for it–it’s better this way!
When you posted about the playpen you got from Moolka, I tried looking for it on their site but I couldn’t find it! Are you still happy with it? How long is it? Where can I find it? Owen is getting longer and longer day by day, so I def would want to make sure that his playpen would last him a while. Last Wed (get this) he weighed 12 lbs 14 oz!)
ummm, i think that’s kookytalk.
some cheaper ones are available here – http://www.pristineplanet.com/serch.asp?prod=shower+curtains&tag_id=0&expense=0&submit=Find
supposedly hemp shower curtains dry very quickly, so you don’t really need a liner.
