Doggy fame

Although I mostly blog about the exploits of the cute small human living with us, our canine companion has her moments too. She spent some time at the kennel this week because we had workmen here finishing up some things in the basement and Maggie does not mix well with people wearing tool belts. Anyway, while the dog was at the kennel, a journalist stopped in to write about the kennel’s grooming services and Maggie got to be the featured pet. The kennel kindly send us some samples of what might appear in The Suburban next week (see below). I am surprised that they don’t even have her on a leash in the bathtub. I guess she’s pretty used to the grooming process by now.

Scruffy, unkempt pre-bath/grooming photo.

Our dog is all fur. Look how skinny she is when she’s wet. Funny.

I think they do the nails last. Her coat looks much better in this photo.

The kennel always does an excellent job with her grooming. They never cut too much and she always looks pretty for months afterwards. We don’t get her groomed often enough so it is a ton of work for the groomer when she does get cleaned up. I think it takes them several hours to get her looking this good.

oh my god. I am actually laughing out loud at how hilarious Maggie looks like when she’s wet. Uhm, her head is TINY! It explains why she gets freaked out by so many stupid little things. Her brain is tiny to fit in her tiny head.
OK, i just looked at the picture again. I can’t stop laughing! ha! ha!
