Despite the cool water temperature, Amelia loved swimming in the lake at Ian’s cottage. When we arrived on Saturday late afternoon we went for a swim instead of having bathtime. She does the froggy kick and splashes up a storm with her hands every time she is in the water and doesn’t seem to want to get out.
This last shot is from today at Mount Royal. Amelia and I went to have a picnic with some friends and randomly ran into Ian, who was out for a run at lunchtime. We took a photo at the top of the big wooden staircase that we use for training for Step Up.
It was lovely seeing Amelia after her first swim in Bark Lake! She is an absolute charmer.
