Fly girl

We took Amelia to Ian’s fav coffee spot on Sunday to meet up with a friend from Toronto who was in town (and her beautiful, pregnant chauffeur as well). H. brought us a very cool cap for Amelia, which she is sporting in the photos below. Our kid is way better dressed than either of us. Stylin’, don’t you think?

In other news, I have managed to get a few books read over the past few days. I read the first two Harry Potters, and also made it through Gore Vidal’s The Season of Comfort (again). The one good thing about unpacking books is finding those that have gotten lost on the shelves. And I love Gore Vidal. I prefer his historical fiction, but I’ll take what I can get as I don’t think I have time to re-read his historical fiction right now. Trying to be smart about what I choose to read, so I won’t feel inclined to let Amelia cry so I can just finish one more page, chapter, etc. Ok, I wouldn’t really do that, but, it is easy for me to get absorbed by a story and not want to put it down.
