Amelia is always pulling herself up to stand – on furniture, gates, legs, or walls. Recently, she has taken to letting go of whatever she is holding onto in an effort to stand on her own. Yesterday she was practicing this over and over and I was able to catch a little clip of it on video. When she was six months, our doctor said Amelia would be walking this summer. I’m inclined to believe her.

Geez, not only is she pulling herself up but standing on her own for a few seconds too! I’m amazed. LP did that around his birthday (he was always much more verbal). Amelia is amazing!

Oh I know. Trouble. And yes, the metal gate to her playroom does sort of look like prison. We were joking we should get her another striped onesie so she would really look like an inmate.
