The other day, Maddy and Courtney were visiting and Maddy was asking questions about who were girls and who were boys. The dialogue went something like this:
Maddy: “Is Amelia a girl?”
Amelia: “Yes.”
Maddy: “Is Clara a girl?”
Amelia: “Yes.”
Me: “But how to you know, Amelia?”
Amelia: “Because she wears clean clothes.”
*Amelia told us the correct answer after I asked her again, and after Courtney and I had finished laughing hysterically.
