It was a gorgeous day today so we went to the park. While the rest of the kids steered clear of the puddles, Amelia dove right in. She spent about 30 minutes splashing through them and playing with the wet sand. Luckily, I had packed some extra clothes so she didn’t freeze on the ride home.
In sleeping news, I clearly spoke too soon yesterday when I mentioned that I thought she had adjusted well to the time change. I think we’re moving into another teething bout because she only napped 45 minutes today and has already woken up once since she fell asleep at about 7 pm. I’m always torn between going in to see if she is alright and letting her comfort herself. Most of the time she can fall back to sleep on her own without crying so we let her self-sooth. But sometimes I go in and check on her and we sit in the rocking chair for a few minutes. I don’t want her to think she is all alone if she really needs us.
