I went to Bummis last week to get a present for friends of ours who just had their second child. While I was there I came across two new (to me) brands; Happy Green Bee (this is the hat we sent to our friend) and Under the Nile, which sells really cute organic cotton clothes and toys. I got Amelia a strawberry and the grapes, but I just checked out their site and they have veggies too, so we might have to purchase a few of those!
We are now trying out Claudia’s Choice laundry detergent. It’s a powder, which is a little odd to me because I haven’t used powdered laundry detergent since, well, probably since I lived with my parents. But it so far seems to work and does not have a strong scent. I finished our bottle of the Ecover detergent, which I found worked decently well overall but wasn’t great on stains. I still think the Attitude baby laundry detergent was the best option I have tested so far. I also have a bottle of Seventh Generation’s laundry detergent (courtesy of my friend who works for them), so that’s next on the “to test” list.
