I forgot to mention in my weekend update that I wore regular jeans on the weekend! I also wore a non-elastic-waisted skirt to our brunch with Ian’s extended family. Although I didn’t really buy very many maternity clothes, it still feels nice to fit back into my old things that I haven’t worn in months & months. I’m definitely not back to the shape I was pre-pregnancy (the abs need some serious work) but I am trying to abide by my doctor’s recommendation to take it relatively easy for the first six weeks. It doesn’t help I keep having dreams about running, and when Ian & I go walking on the mountain lots of other folks are jogging by us…but I think this is probably one time where pushing it might not be the best plan. So, I have 2 more weeks of walking to go. I’ve started doing some abs and plyos, but only here and there and without any real goals.
