I am a little behind on my Japanese travels update. On the 9th we decided to stay in Sakai. We did laundry and then biked around the city. We visited a knife museum and then a knife shop where the swordsmith showed us how he makes all the knives and swords that he sells. Amazing!
Then we headed to one of the local temples, had lunch at a random restaurant off the beaten path, and biked to the big park in town to enjoy a little green space. We also tried to use a coin-operated foot bath but apparently it doesn’t work on Mondays.
