“Sisters. Sisters. There were never such devoted sisters.”
In my favourite holiday movie, White Christmas, Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye sing a spoof of a song called “Sisters.” And that’s what I was singing today as the snow tumbled from the sky and Ian and I saw five-month images of our second daughter on the ultrasound. Two girls!
What a lovely surprise on a snowy winter day.
Hooray!
So much for being “relatively confident it is a boy.”
Babies – they’re such tricksters! : )
Congratulations! That’s awesome. Wow you’re 5 months along already? Time flies.
And Dina, hi! A few days ago I realized you had left a comment on my blog a long time ago, and a very important and smart one at that. I just wanted to say I’m sorry I never responded to it before, but for what it’s worth, I did now.
Yup. Guess the doc who did the original ultrasound at 13 weeks was a little out of practice at identifying the sex of the baby :)
best movie ever.
and a big YAY for another girl!
daddy is feeling ever so slightly outnumbered….
Congratulations!!! That’s wonderful news! It’s a really special bond between sisters and I’m so happy for Amelia. Hope you continue to enjoy the news by daydreaming of a house full of Girl power. And I’m sure Ian will be in heaven – getting to spoil and be spoiled by all his ladies. Congrats again! xox
