Weekend update

I spent Saturday doing baby errands. It is amazing how easy it is to spend money on cute baby things. We did the tour of a bunch of baby stores in Montreal including bummis and rose ou bleu. We also visited some health food stores in search of the german-made biodegradable diapers and baby shampoo, soap etc that was either organic or free of chemicals and dyes. It is surprisingly hard to find options that aren’t made with almond oil!
Sat night I hung out with my brother since Ian was at a conference. And today I did more baby laundry, and I am pleased to say I think it is all done now. We also went to the mountain and ran into the step up crew. I did a set of stairs for the team. It was slow going, but I am proud to say I can still make it to the top without stopping.
In other news, on Friday I had my doctor’s appointment. Everything seems to be going on schedule. Baby’s heart rate is 137 and I’m 1 cm dialated and 20 percent effaced, for those who want to know the gritty details. It doesn’t mean the baby will be born soon, but it doesn’t mean she won’t.
So I guess now the waiting begins…….
